M4 multistage water filter on ceramic support - 4 stages of filtering

Maintenance:

 Attention: It is recommended that every time at the beginning of the filtering process to collect the water after about 0.5 - 1 minutes of use.

After a long period of time of using the filter (about 3 to 4 weeks or earlier if the water is very dirty), the ceramic filtering element will be covered with impurities and the flow of the water is going to decrease under 10 liters per hour (2.64 gallons). At this point, the filter must be cleaned like this:

* unscrew the top of the filter using the plastic key from the pack;

* take a clean dish sponge (use only the soft part of the sponge, otherwise you will damage the ceramic element) and rub it softly by the ceramic element under a water flow, until you remove the impurities. After this process, replenish the water from the pressure plastic chamber and mount back the filter. After the cleaning process, we recommend to through away the first 2-3 litters (0.52-0.80 gallons) of water

* after the cleaning process, the ceramic candle filtering element will most likely have a slightly yellowish color. In this case do not be worried because the rust from the water will slightly color on the outside the white ceramic filtering element. 

Attention: Before mounting back the filter, please take care to replenish the water from the filter pressure chamber (the big white plastic cylinder, where the ceramic filtering candle enters)!
